The cities of Oroville, Washington and Osoyoos, British Columbia are just minutes from Veranda Beach, with many great local restaurants.  In addition, the Osoyoos area is emerging as the home of ‘Desert Wine Country’ with a host of local wineries and your next favorite wine, and Veranda Beach even has its own new vineyard!

Summer activities and amenities at Veranda Beach include watersports and boat rentals, more than a mile of sandy beach, beach volleyball, water trampoline and slide, a games lawn, outdoor movies on an 18-foot screen, s’mores at the firepit and beach and nature trails.

Shopping (even duty-free!), the wineries, dozens of golf courses, and endless unspoiled scenery surround Veranda Beach, allowing your days to be filled with activity, or just relaxing on the beach at the resort. 

In the winter, Mt. Baldy and Apex Ski Resort are located nearby, and a host of winter sports are available in the area, including snowmobiling and cross-country.  Veranda Beach is perfect for ski vacations, with the large cottages, kitchens, and a fireplace to relax around after a day on the slopes.
